Dr. Peter is proud to have been selected by New Mouth (a comprehensive guide of top providers and dental knowledge). The team at New Mouth looked at over 160 dental providers and Dr. Peter and the team at VK Pediatric Dentistry was selected as a top provider in Arlington, VA (and the rest of Northern Virginia) and is one of the only pediatric dentists on the list. We are thrilled to have been selected!

We are happy to announce we will be sponsoring another candy buy back for all local families in the area. We had a lot of thankful parents who were wondering what to do with their extra Halloween candy so we are offering $1 per pound (up to 5 pounds) for any extra Halloween candy. Just stop by our office during normal business hours during the first two weeks of November and we'll do the rest! Ps. Chocolate is much better for teeth than sticky gummies!

We absolutely love what we do and are thrilled that our families continue to trust us for their dental care. We definitely wouldn't be able to do what we do - and smile - without you!

Dr. Peter was named 2022 Top Dentist in Virginia by Virginia Living!

Dr. Peter and the team at VK Pediatric Dentistry had a lot of fun visiting schools for the month of National Children's Dental Health (February). We visited a few of the local schools to talk about the importance of brushing, flossing, and keeping our teeth clean! Sharky was a big hit this year with the kids!

Dr. Peter and the team at VK Pediatric Dentistry had so much fun hosting this year's annual art contest: "Draw what makes you smile". This is an annual contest thats free to enter and open to kids in Northern Virginia (Arlington, McLean, Falls Church, etc) and DC. This years prizes included a $500 donation to the winner's school, a $250 Lego Gift Card, Amazon Tablets, Quip Toothbrushes and More! Check out this year's entries on our social media pages. We are already excited for next years art!!

Kid Up And Go is an amazing and well trusted resource for families in the NOVA & DC area looking for a one stop shop website for local events, parenting blog posts, pediatric medical professionals, and more! Dr. Peter recently contributed some expert advice on how to pick a pediatric dentist and things to look for to make sure you find the best possible dentist for your kids, whether its at VK Pediatric Dentistry or elsewhere. Dr. Peter was recently recognized as a top pediatric dentist in the USA by USAtopDentists. This is an incredible honor because dentists must be voted in strictly by their peers and colleagues and listings cannot be purchased (and no payment is required to be listed). Inclusion in USAtopDentists is considered to be a distinct honor and Dr. Peter is one of only two pediatric dentists in Arlington to be honored with this award and recognition. We are so thankful to have been listed and are so thankful to the parents and families that trust us as their pediatric dental home!

Learn to love your child’s dentist! VK Pediatric Dentistry is teaming up with @skillsonthehill (Skills on the Hill) on December 7th, 2020 at 1pm for a special presentation to discuss how to prepare for a dentist appointment from a sensory and behavioral perspective to approach your visit with confidence. Learn the latest sensory-friendly techniques in pediatric dentistry that help children experience less anxiety and achieve better outcomes. We want every pediatric dental experience to be the best one!!

Dr. Peter and the team at VK Pediatric Dentistry hosted a pumpkin decorating contest for charity. Over twenty local businesses and services in Northern Virginia (Arlington, McLean, Falls Church) and the DC metro area decorated a pumpkin on behalf of their business. All proceeds went to charity. VK Pediatric Dentistry was happy to donate over 200 dental supply goodie bags for families in need including toothbrushes, floss, and toothpaste. Abingdon PTA has been doing an amazing service for the local Arlington community gathering rent assistance, essential supplies, and providing help for families during this pressing time. We are happy to do our part to help the local community stay strong. Clean teeth make for amazing smiles!

Dr. Peter and the team at VK Pediatric Dentistry sponsored a FREE local art competition during COVID-19 posting ideas on social media and awarding over $500 in prizes to children in the neighboring communities of Arlington, McLean, Falls Church, DC and Northern Virginia. The art we received is proudly displayed on our instagram. We were so proud of the artistic creations we were able to inspire.
