PUMPKIN DECORATING CONTEST FOR CHARITY

Welcome to the 2024 VK Pediatric Dentistry Pumpkin Decorating Contest for Charity! We invited some of our favorite local businesses to decorate a pumpkin.

VOTING IS OFFICIALLY OVER and the WINNER HAS BEEN SELECTED!

A big congratulations to Metropolitan Pediatrics and their winning "Coco" pumpkin. We will have an update soon on their charity of choice for the donation.

We appreciate the participation and creative designs this year and look forward to next year already!

#1: Gnomes

VCO Orthodontics: Dr. Crissy Markova, a Harvard-trained Orthodontist in Arlington, VA specializes in braces and Invisalign for children and adults in Arlington, VA and DC. Their practice has consistently been voted the top Orthodontist in Arlington and the surrounding neighborhoods.

#2: WALL-E

Bethesda Chevy Chase Oral Surgery: Dr. Jarred Abel and Dr. Neel Patel are both oral and maxillofacial surgeons, who manage a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth, and facial regions. They practice a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from dental implant surgery and wisdom tooth removal to corrective jaw surgery.

#3: Peacock

The Brew Shop: A local specialty beer and wine store located in Courthouse, Arlington for all things brew, including beer, wine, homebrew supplies, and locally roasted prepackaged coffee. Aside from an awesome selection of beers, the Brew Shop has some of the best handpicked wines (at an affordable price).

#4: Coco

Metropolitan Pediatrics: Founded on the principle of providing innovative care to infants, children and adolescents in a patient-friendly setting with the highest of professional standards. Located near Ballston, Dr. Hiren Gandhi, Dr. Mary McCarthy, Dr. Caroline Schulz, Dr. Elizabeth Griffin, and Dr. Diana Yetman are all pediatricians that board-certified in their specialty.

#5: Oktoberfest

Heidelberg Pastry Shoppe, since 1975, is a full-line European bakery and deli that offers the best of both continents.

#6: Pumpkin Spice Latte

Progressive Pediatric Therapy: Founded in 2007 and is a pediatric therapy practice located in Falls Church, Virginia.

They provide a variety of services for infants, toddlers, and school-age children including physical, occupational, speech, and art therapy.

They also provide hippotherapy and aquatic therapy at offsite locations.

#7: Lorax

McLean Speech and Language Services: a full service, private speech practice in the Northern Virginia area. They are certified and licensed speech language pathologists providing services to children, adolescents and adults in the diagnosis and treatment of all communication disorders.

Pediatrics of Arlington: For over 60 years, the team at Pediatrics of Arlington has been providing the best in preventive and acute care for their patients. #10: Minion

The Little Gym of Arlington: Northern Virginia's premiere enrichment and physical development center for kids 4 months through 12 years.
