Infant Smiling First Dental Visit VK
Your First Visit

During your first visit to VK Pediatric Dentistry, we will introduce your child to our staff and our office so they can get used to the new surroundings. Our team will have a one on one conversation with you and make sure you have the knowledge, skills, tips and tricks to achieve perfect dental health for your little one moving forward. We will gently clean your baby's mouth and gums and give a short oral exam while they are comfortably lying in your lap. During this conversation, we will discuss diet, habits, hygiene, developmental milestones, what's normal and what's not. You'll leave the office with a wealth of new information and be equipped and empowered to help your child achieve a lifetime of happy and healthy smiles.

Fluoride Treatment for Infants

Topical fluoride is incredibly effective, fast, and safe to protect your baby's teeth from cavities. This natural mineral strengthens their developing tooth enamel and makes their teeth stronger and more resistant to cavities and decay. We use a small brush to apply fluoride in a thin layer which will stay on the teeth for several hours. The fluoride we use is BPA-Free and certified free of allergies to nuts, dairy and dye.
